WILLIAM F. “Bill” McQUADE
Age 70, of Hambden Twp., died unexpected at UH Geauga Medical Center, Claridon Twp. December 19, 2018. Born in Connellsville, PA August 4, 1948 he was a lifelong area resident and a 1968 graduate of Chardon High School. Bill was an avid Car Buff and loved riding his Harley Davidson. He enjoyed Drag Racing and his Friday Night get togethers’ with “the guys”. First and foremost was the time he spent with his family. He worked for Solon Manufacturing for 33 years, retiring in 2016.
Survivors include his wife Susan (nee: Henry) McQuade, his high school sweetheart, whom he married June 10, 1972 in Chardon, his children Mindi (Tim) Lamendola of Chardon, Kimberly (James Bennington) McQuade of Newbury and Brian (Nicole) McQuade of Montville, grandchildren Angelina and Adrianna Lamendola, and Mother-in-law Alberta Henry of Chardon. He was preceded in death by their first son, Thomas, his mother, Cora (nee: Brennen) McQuade and “Dad” Uncle Stanley and Aunt Kay Dominic.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon. The funeral service will be Monday, December 24, 2018 at 11:00 followed by burial at Chardon Cemetery.
