He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Louisville. He then received his MBA from Rivier College, Nashua, New Hampshire. He was a Part-time Instructor in Economics and Physics at Lakeland Community College and Lake Erie College. Mr. Doolittle volunteered at the Holden Arboretum, the Geauga County United Way, and the Buckeye Trail Association. His hobbies included woodturning, tennis, golf, hiking, gardening and traveling. He is survived by his wife Susan (nee: Herman), whom he married in Frederick, Maryland on August 13, 1967.of Chardon Twp., 2 Daughters Beth Jeckering of Chardon and Alison (Brian) Le Roy of Columbus, 2 Grandchildren Joey and Julia Jeckering, mother Mildred (Nee: Ehrsam) Doolittle of Louisville, Kentucky, sister Linda Doolittle of Louisville, Kentucky, brother Steve (Linda) Doolittle of Louisville, Kentucky.
