My condolences on losing your father, David. You were always a good son. I remember Mr. J as being very distinguished with his full head of white hair and possessing a wonderful sense of humor. We loved to tease each other when he visited you at Cablevision.

Dear David, Laura and Beth, I am so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. David, thank you for calling Mom and Dad - Aunt Jane and Uncle Red meant so much to them - oh the stories they tell ...... While it has been since I was child since I've seen Red. I enjoyed your Mom's annual visits to the Cape - we loved her so and looked forward to seeing her each year. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. With Love, Betsy Frazier Roper

I grew up with Beth and spent time at her home. I always admired her parents and both did a fabulous job of raising their children. I do remember "ham, ham, ham" at the Maple Festival! What a wonderful memory that pulled from my mind as I read it in the obituary. My heart goes out to the family. May Heaven bring you happiness and peace "Red". ~Ilanthe

Growing up next to the Jevnikar’s on South St. was such a wonderful time in my life. It brings back so many fond memories that are impossible to all list here. I can honestly say Mr. Jevnikar (as I am strangely compelled to still call him even at sixty years old) is one of those men who made a difference in my life. He was a very generous man who set many good examples for me to follow as I grow older. I will always remember him for being kind to me and being a friend to my Dad and our family when we needed one the most.
