Baldy Lewis, 77, of Hambden Township, died July 9, 2008, at UHHS Geauga Medical Center in Claridon Township.Born Feb. 7, 1931, in Chardon, he had been a lifelong Chardon area resident.He was an avid history buff. He enjoyed NASCAR and the woods. He also enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Mr. Lewis worked in plumbing and heating service and installation for more than 50 years.Survivors are his daughters, Jodi (Tim) Albright of Hambden Township, Wendy Lewis of Hambden Township and Penny (Jimmy) Williams of Ft. Myers Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Daniel (Rachel), Matthew (Abby), Todd (Selina), Christine, Allison and Jessica; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Luke, Eli and Luna.His wife, Judy M. (Johnson) Lewis, whom he married Feb. 14, 1958, in Chardon, died March 9, 2002. His son, Robbie Lewis; and parents, Robert Q. and Gladys A. (Doran) Lewis, are also deceased.Burial will be in Shady Knoll Cemetery in Hambden Township.
