Vivian M. (Hill) Trask of Chardon, a homemaker, passed away March 2, 2010, at Bradley Bay Health Center in Bay Village.Born May 21, 1911, in Chagrin Falls, she had been a lifelong Geauga County resident.Vivian May Hill married Glenn Raymond Trask June 27, 1934, in her parent’s home in Chardon. He preceded her in death Feb. 2, 2003.Mrs. Trask was an active member of the Pilgrim Christian Church, helping with the Pilgrim Guild, serving coffee hour, helping with church dinners and was a Deacon. She was a charter member of Aerie Eagles 2261, having been past president and counductress. In her younger days, she and Mr. Trask enjoyed dancing and playing cards. She also enjoyed flowers, cooking and baking.Survivors are her son, Don (Judith) Trask of Bay Village; daughter, Donna J. (Jerry) Isom of Massillon; grandchildren, Heather L. Howard of Fairview Park, Kimberly L. (Andrew) Poderys of Columbus, Alan P. Trask of Milwaukee, Wis., R. Dean (Jill) Zents of Denver, Colo., Adam D. Zents of Akron, and Shelly A. (Jeff) Jones of Akron; 15 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Ethel Root of Chardon and Dorabeth Jean Ishee of Burton.She was preceded by her husband, Glenn R. Trask; parents, Harry O. and Vesta (Murray) Hill; and siblings, Clarence Hill, Frieda Burr, Harry Hill and Charles Hill.Rev. Scott Holland of the Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon will officiate. Burial will be in Chardon Cemetery.
