Viola Juanita Johnson

Age 79, of Chardon Twp., OH, went home to be with the Lord, surrounded by her family, on February 28, 2011. Ms. Johnson was a registered nurse. She had worked at Geauga Community Hospital for many years, was also a traveling nurse, traveling throughout the US, and had been an agency nurse in several surrounding counties. Juanita was a member of the Willoughby Baptist Church, an avid reader, and wrote poetry, having several poems published. She enjoyed collecting recipes and baking.Her children felt that she was the greatest mother ever, being loving, caring, kind, and dedicated to her nursing profession and her patients.She leaves 3 daughters, Deborah K. Johnson of Chardon Twp., Sheila M. (Joseph) Flynn of Perry, and Cheryl A. Johnson of Chardon Twp. and 2 sons, Roger A. Johnson (Fiance Andrea Clute) of Chardon, and Brett E. (Beth) Johnson of Painesville Twp.; 11 Grandchildren and 5 Great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn (Richard) Worssam of Richmond VA, and Patricia Snyder of Knoxville, TN; and her former husband, Billie V. Johnson of Madison.Ms. Johnson was preceded in death by her dear son, Richard E. Johnson, sister, Bobbie V. Grubbs and her parents, George and Edna Jones.
