Christie Rodriguez-Gallardo left a message on December 22, 2023:
So sad to hear of her passing. I had a vivid memory of her visit to the Philippines when she was in her teens and her smile reminded of her Lola Maura, a dear Lola to all of us, the Manansala clan as well. Too bad that we didn’t to see each other after that and even when I moved here in the states so many years ago. Rest in peace and in comfort with God’s loving presence. My deepest sympathy to her family and the whole Garcia family??? Sincerely, Christie

Dear Vince and family, We are so sorry for your loss. We all met in Chemical Engineering classes at Case, and we all ended up working together at Sohio/BP. We were all family from work, to sports, to weddings and babies. Vickie was smart and kind and always smiling. She was a dear friend who will be missed. Thank God for sharing her with us during her short time here. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Sincerely, Mary, Mike & the Cheung family .

Even if we were warned, it’s very difficult to accept this reality... Vickie, you left us much too soon. We will keep in our hearts very good memories of you, of the moments spent together in Vauvenargues, France. These shared meals during which you tried to improve your French with the help of Laurie and Maxime. We are happy to have crossed your path. We extend our sincere condolences to the entire family. Kind regards, Marilyne, Jean Pierre, Laurie, Maxime and Roxane

A good friend who I met at Case Western Reserve University. She was my office mate for several years at Warrensville. Always smiling, kind, caring. We enjoyed seeing Vickie and Vince at the annual Nitriles Christmas party. In one of those small world facts, Sue worked with Vickie's mom. Vickie's love for God, family and friends always showed openly and brightly. She will be dearly missed.

Our deepest Condolences. We are praying for all of you. I will always remember Vicky's gentleness and beautiful smile. She was one of the sweetest and most patient person that I ever knew. I fondly remember her sitting beside me and taking care of me during the Pirates ride at Disney as well as her visits here in Manila. It was such a joy to have an "older sister" hanging out with me. She was a ray of sunshine that provided warmth and light to everyone. May she rest in peace in the Lord's loving embrace. Stay strong Vince. I'm praying for you and the children.

Vicki and the rest of the Garcia family was my extended family growing up. I used to wait for the bus with Domingo and Vicki every morning for school as we played football waiting to be picked up by the bus on Alemeda Parkway. Whenever we didn’t have a football we would use our pencil cases that would stab our hands with the pencils. Some of the best memories of my life. My sincerest condolences to Vincent and the children. Vicki was just like a sister to me and my family and her smile and kindness will be forever missed Rest In Peace.
