Mr. Locke died at Chardon Health Care Center in Chardon. Born in Boyne Falls, Mich., he lived in Willoughby, then he and his wife had retired to Baldwin, Michigan, and then moved to Chardon in June of 2003.He was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II. He was a Corporal, Corps of Engineers. He was a member of Carpenter’s Union Local 95 in Mentor and a member of VFW Post 5315 in Baldwin, MI. Mr. Locke enjoyed hunting in Baldwin, where he had constructed his retirement home.Mr. Locke was a carpenter for Ohio Carpenter’s Union Local 95 (formerly Local 105).Survivors are his wife, Patricia J. Neilon Blonska Locke, whom he married May 5, 1970, in Lyndhurst; son, Thomas T. (Helen M.) Locke of Willowick; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; stepson, Frank (Joy) Blonska of Livermore, Calif.; four step-grandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Irene (Helfman) Locke in 1958; parents, Joseph and Nellie (nee: Gillen) Locke; five brothers; and four sisters.The family suggests contributions to your favorite charity.
