Born in Boyne Falls, Mich., he lived in Willoughby, then he and his wife had retired to Baldwin, Michigan, and then moved to Chardon in June of 2003.He was a U.S. Army veteran during World War II. He was a Corporal, Corps of Engineers. He was a member of Carpenter’s Union Local 95 in Mentor and a member of VFW Post 5315 in Baldwin, MI. Mr. Locke enjoyed hunting in Baldwin, where he had constructed his retirement home.Mr. Locke was a carpenter for Ohio Carpenter’s Union Local 95 (formerly Local 105).Survivors are his wife, Patricia J. Neilon Blonska Locke, whom he married May 5, 1970, in Lyndhurst; son, Thomas T. (Helen M.) Locke of Willowick; four grandchildren; two great-grandsons; stepson, Frank (Joy) Blonska of Livermore, Calif.; four step-grandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter.He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lois Irene (Helfman) Locke in 1958; parents, Joseph and Nellie (nee: Gillen) Locke; five brothers; and four sisters.The family suggests contributions to your favorite charity.
