Thelma Kathryn McFarlane, age 95, of Chardon, OH, formerly of Newark, OH, died at her residence on
January 23, 2021. She was born in Newark, OH, on January 15, 1926 to Clarence and Anna nee: Knodler) Kinser.
She had been a homemaker, and loved reading, gardening, playing the organ and piano, and a nice taste of Marker’s Mark. She and her husband enjoyed
traveling with their family in their travel trailer.
Survivors include daughter Laurie King of Newark, OH and son John McFarlane of Chardon, OH; 4 grandchildren, Patrick (Kirstin) McFarlane of San Francisco,
Amanda (Mark) Lisachenko of Mentor, OH, Rory (Tiffany) King and Ian (Jennifer) King, both of Hebron, OH; 10 great grandchildren; nieces, Anna Lou and Patty Jones
and her lifelong friend Carol King.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, John McFarlane, 4 sisters and 1 brother.
A Memorial Service in Newark will take place at a later date.
