Mrs. Rusnak was an award winning baker. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. After her retirement, she and her husband won many awards at the Great Geauga County Fair for produce, crafts and antiques. She was a member of the Farm Bureau Advisory Council for decades. Mrs. Rusnak was a well known Elementary School Teacher in Geauga County, having taught in a one room school house, an Amish school and for many years at Claridon Elementary School. She retired in 1968. She is survived by her daughters Diane Rusnak, an artist and college art teacher of San Pablo, CA and Dorothy Caylor, who has been missing for 20 years. She has many cousins in Finland, and she was one of the last remaining Finns in the Chardon Area. Her husband Joseph P. Rusnak, whom she married in Chardon Village August 27, 1938, preceded her in death April 28, 1997.
