His greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren. He retired from the Chester Twp. Maintenance Department in 1982. He is survived by his Son: Matthew (Natalie) Whiting of Chardon, OH; Grandchildren: Christopher and Courtney Whiting of Chardon; Sisters: Thelma Douglass of Chester Twp., OH; Betty Siebert of Chester Twp., OH; Brothers: Wayne (Dorothy) Whiting of Newbury, OH; Harlow (Diva) Whiting of Columbus, OH; Samuel Whiting of Chester Twp., OH.
