Sandra  “Sandi” Sturm (nee: Gucciardo), age 73, was called home by the Lord on Tuesday January 26, 2021 at her home surrounded by loved ones. Beloved husband of 44 years to Robert K. Sturm. Loving step-mother to Deborah J. (Danny) Raines, Robert M. Sturm, Daniel B. (Kim) Sturm and Mark A. (Cathy) Sturm. Loyal sister to Rosemary (Ray-deceased) Gruszewski, Louise Golden, Toni (Michael) Dines and Bill (Mary) Gucciardo. Survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 13 nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Sandi was born in Cleveland, Ohio on November, 1, 1947 to Biagio and Luisa (Nee: Mosa) Gucciardo; whom both proceeded her in death. She graduated from Marymount High School, Class of 1965, and later moved to Burton, Ohio where she spent the next 38 years of her life, owning and operating Echo Printing.

Sandi was kind, loving and generous. Much of her life was spent devoted to her family and caring for others selflessly. If you needed a shoulder to cry on, honest advice or someone to listen, she was always ready with the coffee on, a warm hug and a “How’s it going, Babe?”

Sandi touched the lives of many and will be remembered and missed by all.

A Viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 5-8 PM at the Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 116 South St., Chardon, Ohio. A Funeral Service will follow at 8 PM .   The service will be live streamed and can be viewed by going to her obituary on the Burr Funeral Home website.
