Salvatore Sam ParisiServices for Salvatore Sam Parisi, 86, of Chardon, a salesman, died July 4, 2007, at Geauga Medical Center.Born Aug. 12, 1920, in Cleveland, he lived in Willoughby 33 years before moving to Chardon one year ago.He married Frances Lanza at St. Agatha Church in Cleveland on Sept. 13, 1947. They would have celebrated their 60th anniversary this September.He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Sam loved golf, bowling, playing cards and bocce. He loved listening to Frank Sinatra. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.Mr. Parisi was a salesman and worked for Sears for 39 years.Survivors are his wife, Frances (nee, Lanza) Parisi; daughter, Karen (Mike) Farinacci of Chardon; son, Dr. Joseph (Dr. Catherine George-Parisi) Parisi of Chardon; and grandchildren, David and Madeline Parisi.Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
