Born in Valley Head, West Virginia, Rosie Ann had lived in Chardon, Ohio for 4 years. Prior, she had lived in Oakland, Maryland and New York. She died at the University Hospital in Cleveland, OHRosie Ann graduated from Davis and Elkins College School of Nursing in 1950, and subsequently attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. Following college, she and her dearest friend and fellow nursing student, Bonnie Moore Jansson, moved to Long Island, New York. Rosie Ann worked for 40 years as a Registered Nurse at Long Beach Medical Center, Long Beach, NY; Good Samaritan Medical Center, West Islip, NY; and Southside Hospital, Bayshore, NYOn October 25, 1952, in Rockville Centre, New York, she was married to Rudy O. Hagglund, who preceded her in death on January 17, 1976.She loved to travel, and enjoyed fishing, sports, and music, and especially loved caring for her beloved dogs and cats.Survivors include her children: Sandy McCormick (Bob) of Ypsilanti, Michigan and Terri Hagglund of Chardon, OH; Grandchildren: Lynn McCormick of Cleveland Hts, OH, Cassie (John) Igou, stationed at Ramstein AFB, Germany,and LeeAnn McCormick of Ypsilanti, Michigan; Sister: Alee Rose of Beverly, West Virginia; Brother: Art (Mary Jo) Pritt of Chardon, OH; Sisters in law: Ruth Strigaro of Port Saint Lucie, Florida and Mary Hagglund of Augusta, Maine; and Many Nieces and NephewsDeceased are her parents: Artie and Elizabeth Pritt; 2 Sons: Fred Eric Hagglund and Rudy Oskar Hagglund Jr.; Brother: Samuel Pritt; Sisters: Helen Fowler, Urania Corley, and Una ForebackBurial will be at the Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, New York, alongside her husband and sons.
