Mrs. Blackington is a lifelong resident of Newbury Twp., OH. She is the daughter of Clarence H. and Fern (Nee: Wilson) Davis. On November 27, 1947, she married Willard F. Blackie Blackington at her parents home. He preceded in death on Novermber 14, 2001.Mrs. Blackington was a member of the Newbury Bible Church, the Ohio Education Association, and the Retired Teacher’s Association. She was a 1959 graduate of Kent State University, receiving her BS in Education, and then taught for 30 years for the Newbury Local Schools.Survivors are: 2 Daughters: Linda (James) Shefcheck of Jeannette, PA, Nancy (Mark) Sprenger of Toledo, OH4 Grandchildren: Matthew (Victoria) Sprenger of Aspen, CO,Kevin (Sandy) Shefcheck of Bel Air, MD, Steven Shefcheck of Jeannette, PA,Andrew Sprenger of Toledo, OH2 Great-grandchildren: Ashley Sprenger of Aspen, CO,Abigail Shefcheck of Abington, MDSister: Jean Morris of Newbury Twp, OH
