Mr. Prusha worked for Baker Drug in Willoughby from 1964 until he purchased the store in1979, changing the name to Prusha’s Willo Medical Pharmacy in the Willo Medical Building, before selling to Rite Aide in 1996. He was currently working as a Pharmacist for Rite Aide for the last 12 years. Ron was a 1958 graduate of Chardon High School and a 1963 graduate of Ohio Northern College of Pharmacy, and a member of the Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity. While in High School, he served as the trainer for the football and basketball teams. He was one of the founding team members of Hospice of the Western Reserve and a member of the Chardon United Methodist Church and an active member of United Methodist Men. Ron enjoyed bowling, watching sports, he played softball for several local teams for many years, coached little league and his son’s baseball team through Middle School. He also enjoyed playing golf and cards and games with his children and family. Ron’s favorite was polka music and he loved to play the Accordion. He also enjoyed tending to his vegetable garden. He was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns Fan.Survivors include his Wife: Patricia A. Prusha, whom he married September 9, 1961 in Chardon, children Kimberly (Mark) Avery of Chardon Twp. and Todd (Linda) Prusha of Hambden Twp., grandchildren Emma Prusha, Connor Prusha, Lydia Avery and Gwendolyn Avery and his brother Ray L. Prusha of Hemet, CA. His parents Joe and Daisy (nee: Ripley) Prusha and In Law’s Harold and Ann Ash are deceased.
