Ronald “Ron” Gene Brown, Age 59, passed away surrounded by family on September 27, 2023. Ron was born April 24, 1964 to Ralph and Joyce (nee: Brunsky) Brown in Chardon, OH. He graduated from Chardon High School in 1982 and was a lifelong Hilltopper fan, rarely missing a football game. Ron was a avid Cleveland sports fan and regular caller on local sports talk radio. Ron met the love of his life, Angela, on April 6, 2012 and later married in 2017. He loved his family and often said the first best day of his life was marrying Angela, and the second best day was walking his niece, Kayla, down the aisle on her wedding day. Ron will be remembered for his sense of humor and loyalty to his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Angela (nee: Jacobson) Brown, siblings, Michael (Patricia) Brown and Karen Brown; niece, Kayla (Schuyler) Marshall and nephews, Jacob, Matthew, and Kenny; step-children, Kortney, Kyle, Kameron, Kirstyn, and Kolton. Ron also leaves behind 9 step-grandchildren who he loved very much.

Ron is preceded by his parents and sister, Sharon.

A visitation for friends and family will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, Chardon, Ohio 44024.

In lieu flowers the family suggest donations be made to help cover funeral expenses.
