Roger William Nicolet age 68 of Mentor-on-the-Lake died January 26, 2010 at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby. He was born on November 18, 1941 in Cleveland, OH and was a lifelong Area resident and graduate of Chardon High School.Roger had been employed with A&P Grocery Store in Chardon, Coca Cola Distributing Co. of Mentor and Madison Giant Eagle. Roger married Wanda Broglin in Kentucky and had been married for 39 years.Roger was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.He enjoyed bowling, biking, walks, and playing poker with classmates.He is survived by his wife, Wanda Nicolet of Mentor-on-the-Lake, sisters; Joan Manchook of Willowick, Susan (Terry) Greene of Lodi, Gail (Paul) Cilia of Chardon, Lois Nicolet of Chardon, Cheri (Lee) Sparrow of Strongsville, and Joy Bennington of Chardon brothers; Glen (Victoria) Nicolet of Santa Fe, NM, Mark (Debra) Nicolet of Rock Creek, Sister-in-Law, Marie (David) Franklin of Indiana and his cherished pets, Cookie, Tiger, Snowflake, Blackey, Pansy, Possum, and Rosie, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Stella (Kirvelaitis) Nicolet.
