Robert J. Hahn, 80, of Chardon, passed away March 23, 2011, at Briar Hill Nursing Home.Born March 26, 1930, in Lansing, Mich., he had been a longtime area resident.Robert married Nora Gura Sept. 5, 1953, and served in the U.S. Air Force from 1947 to 1949.Mr. Hahn worked as a bus driver and custodian for South Euclid-Lyndhurst Board of Education before his retirement.Survivors are his wife, Nora (Gura) Hahn of Chardon; sons, David (Linda) Hahn of Willoughby Hills and Danny (Debbie) Hahn of Painesville; grandchildren, Jennifer, Nora, Joseph and Tara Kay; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl F. and Sybela (Phillips) Hahn; brothers, Richard and Emil; and sisters, Helen, Wilamena, Anna, Bertha and Lucille.Private family services were held.Arrangements are being handled by The Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Chardon.
