Richard J. Lowther, 52, of Chardon, passed away at University Hospital in Cleveland. Born in Cleveland, he lived in Willowick before moving to Chardon where he lived for the last 12 years. He was a wonderful husband and father. The joy in his life was watching his 11-year old son Max, play baseball for the Chardon Mudhens. Mr. Lowther was also an avid Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. Mr. Lowther was a sales person for 14 years at ADT Tyco Alarm Company. He was previously employed at Power Alarm Company. Survivors are his wife, Donna (Chervosky); son, Max; parents, Thomas and Gertrude Lowther; sister, Teri (Dennis) Simpson; mother-in-law, Jean Cherovsky; sister-in-law, Sharon (Bob) Pollard; nieces and nephews, Neil (Rachel), Eric, Colin, Ian, Robby, Sarah and Megan.He was preceded in death by his father in law, James Cherovsyk; maternal grandparents, John and Anna and paternal grandparents William and Lydia Lowther.Pastor Roy Williams of the Fowlers Mill Christian Church, Munson Twp., Oh, will officiate the service. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery.
