Richard D. McMaster, age 90, of Montville Twp., passed away at Ohman Family Living at Blossom in Huntsburg Twp., Ohio on Sunday, September 24, 2023.  He was born on April 28, 1933 to Thomas E. and Florence (nee: Paschek) McMaster in Chardon, Ohio.

Richard was a Class of 1954 graduate of Chardon High School. A proud U.S Army Veteran.  He had been the Road Superintendent for Hambden Township for 11 years.

He is survived by his step son, Ronald Smith of Petersburg, MI; Grandchildren, Rachel Smith, Matthew Smith of Lansing Michigan and Melissa Rousch of Chardon, OH; sisters, Mary Day of Newbury Twp, OH and Linda Carmiginano of Concord Twp., OH and brother, Walter McMaster of Munson Twp., OH

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Kathleen (nee: Jones) McMaster; sisters, Janice Neely, Gloria Ilersich, and brothers, Thomas, William (Mick), Robert, Joseph and Jack McMaster.

A Private Family Services were held at the Hambden Township Cemetery.
