Since i could remeber, i always had to know what he was doing or where he was going. I would call grandma betty all the time to see how they were doing. I will never forget the first time that he held my daughter. He was scared to death! LOL He didn't even move with her. The look on his face was awsome! And how he connected with my husband really meant alot. They talked for hours about hunting, guns, boats, trapping and things of that nature. WE LOVE YOU GRANDPA RAY AND YOU ARE SOOO MISSED!

I met Ray through my Dad. I've got lots of great memories of him. One particular time, I had been deer hunting and had shot a small buck, I brought it to my Dad's to hang it up, Ray cut the head off and strapped it to the handle bars of my 7 year old sons big wheel, that kid rode that thing around the parking lot here proud as could be. Ray got kick out of that! He'll be missed.
