Ralph E Gardiner

February 5, 1932 - March 3, 2011

Ralph E. Gardiner, age 79, loving husband for 50 years of Marian (nee: Meyer) Gardiner, devoted father to Bonnie (Doug) Kennedy, Charles (Kelly) Gardiner and Bryan (Victoria) Gardiner and caring grandfather of five grandchildren. A veteran of the Korean War in the service of the US Navy and retired after 35 years from CEI. Ralph was a dedicated servant to his community and his church. Because of his love of square dancing and singing in the church choir, the family asks donations be made to the Hope Ridge United Methodist Church Music Fund, 9870 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Mentor, OH 44060, 440-352-2141. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 at Hope Ridge United Methodist Church, Sunday, March 6th. A service to honor Ralph’s memory will be held at 3:00 following the viewing, at the church.

We will always remember Ralph from Hambden Congregational Church in the sixties. Ralph was such a gentleman. Unfortunately, we have seldom seen Ralph over the years, but have always held him in such high regard. He was a good man.Dan Chapman. Mike and Gerry Chapman.

It will be 30 yrs this year, you and your family came into my life, for 30 yrs you have been a dad to me and a grandfather to my children.I am honored to have you in my life as well as my childrens lives.
