Phyllis Pease Niebes

93 passed away Thursday August 19, 2021. She was born August 26, 1927, in Chardon to Burr and Dorothy (Pease)  Cooper.

She will be deeply missed by her three sons , Curt, Ronald (Marie), Christopher (Julie), her cherished grandchildren Jacob, Haley, Nicholas,  and Kevin and brother Judson Burr Cooper (Nancy). Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years Raymond W. Niebes. 

As a young girl,  Phyllis had many fond memories of visiting during the summer at the Huntsburg farm of her grandparents George and Isabel Pease.  After growing up in the Cleveland Collinwood area, on August 18, 1951 Phyllis married Raymond W. Niebes.  Early on Phyllis became a member of the Christian Science Church and was a faithful member her entire life.  Phyllis was dearly loved by all who knew her including many social friends and former work colleagues at Overlook House in Cleveland and May Company / Macy’s in University Heights. Memorial donations in the name of Phyllis P. Niebes may be directed to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301 Cincinnati, OH  45250

Phyllis’s family will host a visitation Wednesday 08/25 from 5:00 pm to 8:00pm at Burr Funeral Home 116 South St Chardon, OH 44024. 

Burial Service will be at Mentor Cemetery,  6881 Hopkins Rd.,  Mentor, OH  44060 Thursday 08/26 11:00 am.
