Phil Rigdon died April 13, 2006, in Geauga County.Born Aug. 14, 1957, in Cleveland, he was a lifelong Geauga County resident.He enjoyed his motorcycles, loved riding and working on them, and also enjoyed spending time with his family.Mr. Rigdon was the Foreman for the Road and Maintenance Dept., and the Cemetery Sexton for Munson Township for 18 years.Survivors include his wife, Suzanne (Peska) Rigdon of Huntsburg Township, whom he married Dec. 14, 2002; daughter, Crystal Rigdon of Painesville; son, Nathaniel Rigdon of Hartsgrove Township; brothers, Howard K. (Caralyn) Rigdon III of Rome, Ohio, Master Sergeant USAF Lawrence E. (Helen) Rigdon of Sedalia, Mich., and Charles A. (Kathryn) Rigdon of Lakewood; granddaughter, Autumn Hutter of Painesville; three nieces; two nephews; and many friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard K. and Ione (Peace) Rigdon, Jr.A private family burial will be held at a later date in Maple Hill Cemetery, Munson Township.The family suggests contributions to the VFW Chardon Post 6519, 752 Water St., Chardon 44024.
