Pauline “Peggy ” Becker, age 85 of Chester Twp., OH was born in Long Island, NY. She has been a resident of Geauga County for 58 years. Prior to living in Cleveland, OH. She passed away January 29, 2011 at Amelia Grace Assisted Living in Chester Twp., OH. Peggy was a homemaker. She had worked as a waitress at Bainbridge Colonial Lanes and Grandview Country Club. Pauline Pauloski married Clyde Joseph Becker in Cleveland, OH, on January 26, 1946. He preceded in death on February 26, 2005.Peggy enjoyed vegetable gardening and canning the fruit of her labors. Her baking was “out of this world “.She was an avid bowler, participating in league at Ernst Lanes in Chardon, Middlefield Lanes and the former Bainbridge Colonial Lanes.Her grandchildren and family were most important in her life.Her survivors include 1 Daughter: Sharon (Jerald) Glatz of Leesburg, FL; 2 Son: Clifford (Judy)Becker of Burton Twp., OH, and Keith (Debbie) Becker of Russell Twp., OH; 6 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; 3 Great-great-grandchildren; and 1 Sister: Helen Tlockowski of Long Island, NY.She is preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Mary (Nee: Mosier) Pauloski; husband: Clyde J. Becker; grandson: Jason J. Glatz; 1 Brother and 1 Sister.The funeral will be held Wednesday, February 2, at 8:00 PM at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (On Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square) Chardon, OHRev. Robert Gaston will officiate.The visitation will be on Wednesday, 6-8PM at the funeral home.The burial will take place at Whitehaven Cemetery, Mayfield Village, OH.The family suggests donations to Amelia Grace Assisted Living, 7090 Wilson Mills Road, Chesterland, OH 44026.
