Patricia Ellen (nee: Keller) Johnson, age 63, of Chardon Township, died Oct. 3, 2010, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 28, 1947, in Euclid, and was a lifelong Chardon resident. Patricia Keller married Bruce Johnson on Aug. 1, 1979. Mrs. Johnson was a head custodian for Chardon Local Schools, retiring in 2005. Patricia was a member of Pilgrim Christian Church and Cancer Cure Aiders. She was the 2008 recipient of Friend of Education for Chardon Local Schools. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, baking, canning, gambling and visiting Lake Erie. Pat was a loving and caring friend to many and will be missed by all. Survivors are her husband, Bruce Johnson; son, Jeff (Robin) Keller of Madison; daughter, Jennifer (Ty) Kreuz of Chardon; sister, Cindy (John) Janssen of Pekin, Ill.; and grandchildren, Courtney and Tataum Keller, and Ethan, William, and Benjamin Kreuz. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Virginia (nee: Anderson) Keller; and sister, Terri Woodard. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, October 7 at Pilgrim Christian Church, 202 S. Hambden St., Chardon. Pastor Richard Norton of the Willoughby First Christian Church will officiate at the services. Visitation will be from2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St. (on State Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square) Chardon. Burial will be at Larned Cemetery in Chardon Township.
