Ms. Meyer was an LPN. She had worked for a number of employers, including the former Corey Hospital in Chardon; Geauga Community Hospital in Claridon Twp.; and Visiting Nurse Service in Cleveland. She had also worked as an industrial nurse for the former E.F. Hauserman Co. in Cleveland for 11 years and the former Harris-Seybold Co. for 4 years. Ms. Meyer was a member of the First Congregational Church of Claridon since 1945. She was a member and former President of Division 4, LPN Association of Geauga County. She was a volunteer for both Geauga Park District and Geauga Community Hospital. She is survived by her 1 Sister Mary Ann (Ken) Post of Claridon Twp., 2 Nieces Linda (Jim) Petkosek of Hambden Twp. and Debra Jane Elko of Claridon Twp., 2 Nephews Donald P.(Emma) Meyer of Claridon Twp. and James M. Meyer of Hambden Twp.; Foster Brother: Richard (Phyllis) Oliphant of Claridon Twp., niece Lisa (Oliphant) BeneliskaNephew: Jack Oliphant Jr. Her parents George and Elizabeth (nee: Krank) Meyer, brother Donald W.
