Art, I just heard the terrible news of your tragedy from my son Ben. I am so sorry for your loss and my heart aches thinking of the pain that must be in yours. I know you were very proud of Michael and had boundless love for him, Laura and kids.I am unable to comprehend the agony you and Debbie must be suffering; I only wish that I had words that would make it better, but there are none. Time will take some of the acuteness of the hurt away but the pain will be there forever. God can offer comfort in unique ways but that happens over time as well.Just know this my friend, we are praying for you and for the kids as hard as we know how to do.I love you my brother,Jim Barger

A PROMISE OF RESURRECTIONI just read about the recent death of your loved one. As your “Neighbor”, scripturally speaking, I am deeply concerned about the sorrow and distress that you must be experiencing. However, I have some GOOD NEWS to share with you regarding your loss.Did you know that the Bible promises us that we will have the opportunity to see our loved ones again? At JOHN 5:28 & 29, Jesus Christ assures us that everyone in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.Yes, the wonderful promise of a resurrection is held out to all those who have fallen asleep in death. (Acts 24:15)In addition, God has promised obedient mankind at Revelation 21:1-5 that very soon pain, sickness, and even death will be no more. Why? According to 1John 4:8, “God is love.”I hope that these few lines have brought you some measure of comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.
