Max was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and also served in the Merchant Marine. He was a lifetime member of AmVets 1971 in Perry. He was a member of the Northeast Ohio Walleye Association, and a charter member of the Fairport Harbor Rod and Reel Club.Max was a supporter of the Geauga County Democratic Party. Max was also a proud member for 30 years of the Carpenters Union Local 95.He loved to fish and enjoyed teaching other to fish most of all.He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Virginia Dill, sons; Max (Terri) Dill, Jr. of Chardon, Maxwell (Karen) Seymour of Hilliard, OH, Richard Dill of Chardon, Jeffrey Dill of Mentor, daughter; Pauline Dill of WilloughbyStep Children; John Snyder of Painesville, Grayce Malone of Ashtabula, Grace Helsius of Willowick, Many grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters; Louise Hart of Flint, MI and Kathryn Bennett of Bard, CA.He is preceded in death by his Mother, Kathryn (Earle) Wertenberger and Father, Maxwell (Catherine) Dill, sister, Dorothy Haydocy andTwin Children, Maxwell and Virginia Dill
