Mrs. Mahon grew up in Euclid, lived in Northeast Ohio for many years, and lived in Florida for 25 years before moving to Montville Twp. last year. After graduating from St. Vincent Charity Hospital nursing school in 1940, Mrs. Mahon’s professional career as an RN included hospitals, the former Chase Brass, the former White Motor Company, the former Diamond Shamrock, nursing homes and Hospice until she was in her 70’s. She also worked thru PAVLA, assisting families in need in Caracas, Venezuela.She was a loving and adventurous woman who spent most of her life caring for others. Mrs. Mahon was a devout Catholic all of her life and a member of the Third Order of Discalced Carmelites. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter Judy Louden of Montville Twp., OH, grandchildren Mark and Holli Auer, both of FL, Greg (Samantha) Louden of Claridon Twp., OH, Beth Rice of Austinburg Twp., OH, Pam (Clayton) Sauberan of Huntsburg Twp., OH and Kelli Louden of Concord Twp., OH. She also leave great grandchildren Thomas, Lauren, Rachel, Laura, Grace, Gregory, Alec, Jared, Clayton and Hanna and several nieces and a nephew. Her daughter Kathleen M. Auer, parents John C. and Clara (nee Theirs) Koenigshoff, brother: Dr. John Koenigshoff snf nieces and nephews are deceased.
