Mrs. Long was an active member of Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon. She was also a member of the Public Employees Retirement Services, Geauga County and Columbus Chapters.Mrs. Long was a local talented ceramics artist and teacher. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren on ceramic projects. From 1966 until 1973 she was the Deputy Clerk of the Geauga County Treasurer’s Office. She hs survived by her sons Claude E. (Linda) Moore of Ontario, NY, Jim L. (Edith) Moore of Evanston, IL and Larry L. (Sharon) Moore of Toledo, 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren, step daughter Patricia (Ken) Trent of Willoughby, 3 Step Grandsons & 1 Step Great Grandchild. Her husbands Paul E. Moore whom she married in Mt. Vernon, IL in 1938 preceded her in death January 9, 1960, and Renza A. Long whom she married in 1972 preceded her in death May 10, 2004; granddaughter Lisa Marie Moore and step daughter Kathleen Maness are also deceased.
