Mary Jane Molly Dysert, 77, of Chardon Township, Mrs. Dysert died Feb. 25, 2006, at Geauga Regional Hospital in Claridon Township.Born Feb. 8, 1929, in Cleveland, she lived in South Euclid until moving to Chardon Township in 1996.She was a member of the Chardon United Methodist Church, enjoying her time in the Women’s Circle. When she was at Lyndhurst Presbyterian, she served as an Elder and a Deacon, and was involved in the Women’s Circle. She volunteered at the office of the Geauga County Maple Festival, and the display booth at the Festival. She loved to shop and craft ceramics. Her partnership with her grandchildren was B & J Ceramics. They loved to make Christmas trees for the children’s teachers. She enjoyed making ceramics for all holidays and selling at craft shows. In her earlier years, she loved square dancing and camping with her family. She was the social director at Wilder’s Mobile Home park, organizing parties and pinochle parties. She was known as Jolly Molly most of her adult life, as she had an infectious laugh. She loved living life to the fullest.She worked for Richard’s Maple products for 12 years before working for Mayfield City Schools for 27 years, retiring in 1995. She served as a precinct committee man in South Euclid and helped take the census in 1960 and 1970. She also worked part time at Richard’s Maple Products for more than 50 years.Survivors are her husband, William Dysert of Chardon Township, who she married in Lyndhurst Community Presbyterian Church June 23, 1950; daughter, Deborah (Ann Cox) Dysert of Waterford, Mich.; sons, Gary (Dorothy) Dysert of Claridon Township, and Daniel Dysert of Wickliffe; and grandchildren, William (Kali) Dysert of Hambden Township, and Jamie Dysert of Cleveland.She was preceded in death by her parents, George Lamont and Nellie (Hamilton) Kinnaird; sister, Ellen E. Root; and brothers, George, Jimmy, John, and Wilhelm Kinnaird.The Rev. Henry Woodruff, PhD, of Chardon United Methodist Church, will officiate at the services. Private family burial will be held in Chardon Municipal Cemetery.
