Marion Pearl (nee: McNeice) Toothman, age 78, of Chardon, Ohio passed away peacefully on September 14, 2021 surrounded by her children and sister. Marion was born January 31, 1943.
For 30 years, she worked at Channel Products located in Chesterland, Ohio. She was always a very hard worker and we all thought that she might slow down after retiring, but she didn’t and actually was busier than ever! Anybody who knew her knew that “Quit” was never in her vocabulary and proved that over and over again. She was a longtime member of Freedom Alliance Church in Hambden, Ohio. She had a strong faith in God and served her church and community with grace.
In 2015, Marion was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. She ended up fighting cancer 3 different times until 2020. She was a fighter and gave it all she had never losing her faith and always keeping a positive attitude.
She is survived by daughter, Malinda (Greg) Plazek; sons, Robert Toothman, and Mike (Christine) Toothman; 7 grandchildren, Brandy Hinton, Sonya Elliott, Roger Gau, Ryan Poe, Haliegh Toothman, Emily Toothman, and Patrick Toothman; 5 great grandchildren, Johnathan, Ella, Jason, Mackenzee, and Lillian; her sisters, JoAnn Vinciquerra and Lois Walsh; her brother, Joe McNeice and her mini pony Freckles.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Theora McNeice; father, Howard McNeice; her sister Carol and her brothers, Donald and Sid McNeice.
Marion was loved and will be greatly missed by many. Once you met her it was impossible to forget her. She was beautiful, genuine, honest, and all 5 foot 4 of her was a force to be reckoned with. It was her wish that there would be no funeral or memorial services for her and that her cremated remains be laid to rest in Hawaii.
Arrangements made by the Burr Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Chardon, Ohio.
