Evans, 74, of Chardon, died at her residence.Born Nov. 5, 1932, in Lucca, Italy, she had lived in the Chardon area since 1970.Mrs. Evans worked as a secretary for White Truck for 10 years before becoming a library aide at Notre Dame High School in Munson Township.Survivors are her husband, John Evans, whom she married Jan. 7, 1956, in Cleveland; son, Mark (Patricia) Evans of Montville; grandchildren, Erica, Christopher (Christina), Samantha, Amber and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Mathew Evans; mother, Erina (Pieri) Ricci of Newbury; brothers, Orlando (Eilene) Ricci of Newbury and Daniel (Susan) Ricci of Newbury; and many nieces and nephews.Her father, Dionigi Ricci; and sister, Valeria Helbig, are deceased.The Rev. Tom Behrends of the Church of St. Mary in Chardon will officiate the service. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
