MARGARET “PEGGE” I. WOODRING (nee: FILER)

Age 82 of Hambden Twp., died November 30, 2023 at David Simpson Hospice House, Cleveland. Born May 11, 1941 to Merle and Mildred (nee: Brown) Filer, in Greenville, PA, coming to the area in 1966. Pegge enjoyed crafting, bowling, painting and was an avid baker. The joy of her life were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years David of Hambden Twp, children Mark (Lisa) Woodring of Halifax, PA, Douglas (Dee Oakes) Woodring of Hartfield, VA, Teressa (Tim) Croy of Strongsville, Mathew (Elaine) Woodring of Sparks, NV; grandchildren Jessica (Phil) Pinkston of Memphis, TN, Bethany (Bryan) Henry of Elizabethtown, PA, Brittany Woodring of Halifax, PA, Monica Muller of San Diego, CA, Dominic, Emily and Tyler Croy of Strongsville and JohnWayne, Georgia and Korra Oakes of Hartfield, VA; great grandchildren Jadyn, Sierra and Sienna Pinkston of Memphis, TN, Gracie, Paige and JoshalynHope Woodring of Halifax, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Fred, sister Mary Jane and grandson Joshua.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 7, 2023 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., Chardon, Ohio 44024. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at the funeral home, followed by burial at Hambden Cemetery.
