Margaret E. “Peggy” Gregorich, 86, of Mayfield Heights, a homemaker, passed away Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.Born Sept. 3, 1925, in Cleveland, she had lived there before moving to Mayfield Heights 61 years ago.Margaret E. Thuro married Howard J. Gregorich Sr., June 15, 1946, in Cleveland. She was a graduate of John Hay High School, Class of 1943, and enjoyed bowling in area bowling leagues and tournaments. Raising her family was her most important accomplishment in life.Survivors are her husband, Howard J. of Mayfield Heights; sons, Howard J. “Howie” (Karen) Gregorich Jr. of Munson Township and John M. (Jackie) Gregorich of Chardon Township; grandchildren, Howard J. (Donna) Gregorich III of Chardon, Todd M. Gregorich of Munson Township, Johnny M. Gregorich Jr. and Bryan N. Gregorich of Munson Township; great-grandchildren, Brittney and Brooke Gregorich of Chardon; and former daughter-in-law, Mary Ellen Gregorich of Chardon.She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katherine (Gutsohn )Thuro; and brother, Andrew Thuro.Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011, at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (Route 44, 500 feet south of Route 6/Chardon Square), Chardon.Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.Information and online condolences at www.burrservice.com.
