Marcie Brown, 52, of Chardon, passed away at Geauga Regional Hospital in Claridon Township.Born Jan. 14, 1954, in Painesville, she had been a lifelong Chardon area resident.She was a 1972 graduate of Chardon High School and a member of Pilgrim Christian Church. Ms. Brown was a very independent person. She enjoyed watching her Soaps, shopping, reading and since she lost her sight, listening to books on tape.Ms. Brown worked for the former Richard’s Bakery on Main St., in Chardon, former Kresse’s Bi-Rite in Chardon and was caregiver to many in the Chardon area for several years.Survivors are her mother, Faye (Lloyd) Burnett of Middlefield Township; father, William H. Brown of Euclid; brother, Cory (Wendy) Burnett of Windsor Township; and nephews, Bryan and Nicholas of Windsor Township.Her brother, Charles E. Charlie Brown, is deceased.The Rev. Robert D. Penrod of the Pilgrim Christian Church in Chardon will officiate the services. Burial will be in Chardon Municipal Cemetery in Chardon.The family suggests contributions be made to Care Corporation, 831 South St., Chardon 44024, or Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland, 3601 S.
