Lynn Diane (née:Pomeroy) Kirby, age 79, of Windsor, Ohio, peacefully passed away at her home on July 13, 2020. Born on May 20, 1941 to Clyde and Elsie (nee: Hoyt) Pomeroy in Cleveland, Ohio. Diane grew up in Chardon, Ohio and graduated from Chardon High School in 1959. She attended Hiram College for undergraduate studies and then Cleveland State where she received her Master’s In Phychology enabling her to provide mental health therapy as a Clinical Therapist.
She married the late James Kirby; they had two children. She is survived by her son, William Kirby (Lisa Kavulis) and daughter, Katherine (David Apthorpe) her two grandchildren, O’Hara and Vaughn, whom she enjoyed spending time with and her precious feline, Tommy. She is also survived by her sister, Ann Gay Pimley (Dave).
Diane had a special interest in birds and other animals and volunteered at Cleveland Museum of Natural History where she presented live animal and educational shows. She was an avid gardener and naturalist who loved all things outdoors.
She leaves her joys, Katie, Dave, O’Hara, Vaughn, William, Lisa and Tommy.
