Lynda M. Richards, age 72, surrounded by her loving sisters and cousins by her side peacefully passed away on November 8, 2022. She was born on November 12, 1949, to Paul (PR) and Clara Jean (nee: Hartman) Richards.
She graduated from Chardon High School and then attended Bowling Green State to become a Legal Secretary. Years later she became an Airline Stewardess for United Airlines. She took her parents on vacation to Hawaii where she met her husband, Everett. They lived in California after they married. She enjoyed the west coast weather for many years until she moved back to Chardon in 1996. It was then that she made a vow to take care of her parents as they aged and needed help. In 2016 she moved to their home in Edgewater, Florida to be with them. She gave such loving care to them both.
Lynda was a life member of Chardon VFW Auxiliary. Lynda’s strong faith has given comfort because she often spoke of the day she would go home to Jesus and get a huge Jesus hug.
She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie Richards, Debbie (Dave Rennie) Richards, Annette (Jeff) Polson and Paula (Hans) Geiss; nieces, Jennifer (Ken) Barham Freeman, Tanya (Wes) Geiss Easthon; nephews, Jason (Mary Beth) Richards, Mike (Cathy) Barham, Matt Barham and Justin (Vanessa) Geiss, and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Roger Richards and nephew, Jeff Richards.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
