Lloyd Robert “Rob” White

October 21, 1943 - December 22, 2012

Lloyd Robert “Rob” White II age 69 of Claridon Twp. died December 22, 2012. Born October 21, 1943 in Chardon, OH to Lloyd Robert and Marion (nee:Lininger) White he had been a lifelong area resident. Rob was a truck driver and worked as a Deputy Sheriff and Huntsburg Twp. Constable. Lloyd R. White II married Elizabeth Ann Szaniszlo in Parkman, OH in 1963. He was a competition marksman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Rob is survived by his wife Elizabeth “Betty” White of Claridon Twp., OH; daughters Lori (Brian) Styers of Cortland, OH and Kristin “Sami” (Shaun) Wiser of Claridon Twp., OH; 4 grandchildren; brother Roger (Judy) of Taberville and sister Louise (George) Masters of Garrettsville. He was preceded in death by his parents and son Lloyd R. White III. Private family services were held. Cremation by the Burr Funeral Home in Chardon. I will miss rob very much. We worked together on the Sheriff's Dept. Rob ran the North and Center sectors of Geauga County and ran the South sector. We always backed up each other on calls just to make sure we were safe or needed help. Rob will be missed by me anf the retired Deputy's that worked together. Rob was a great friend and he will be missed!!! Take care "Rob" see you later:

I first met Rob at the Euclid Police PPC matches as he was good friends with my Uncle, John Paranish. Every year since we met at that time of year to shoot together and also out in Geneva at ORCO from time to time. He is just a one of a kind great guy and I will miss his company this year at in Euclid. God Bless Betty and be comforted that we will all be reunited in good time in heaven.

It's sad to learn of the loss of a classmate. My sympathy to Rob's family and friends.

Of and among Gotham's, " Rob " is and will be missed and remembered as of OUR more esteemed cousins. I fondly remember Rob and I carried the same {nickname), , ie Rob for Robert, and Rob for Robin, and attended Cardinal , Middlefield High School one year apart. Rob was born one day short of a year younger than I. Like our pioneering North American OHIO forefathers, (1785) Rob effected numerous services to the betterment of his fellow man which most outside family were unaware. Rob was the best friend you could have. We had many good times at GCSO in the 70's and continued over the years. Rob and I enjoyed shooting and teaching others to shoot. He is with his son, Whitey, in a much better place looking down on us smiling and laughing waiting for all of us to join him.Just not quite yet my friend. Continue to shoot straight!

Rob will always be remembered in my heart. All the good times we had growing up and at the Sheriff,s dept. God bless the White family.

It's hard to find the right words, but I will miss the telling of the good old days and the time Rob and I spent together. We had good times delivering vegies and fruit to the various grocery stores and selling the same at a road side stand.

Betty,Rob was a wonderful friend, and just a very special person to us. We will miss him sadly. Our hearts go out to you Betty and our family. God bless.
