Kathleen Y. (Paranish) Pachnowski, 74, a homemaker, of Madison, passed away peacefully in her sleep at Lantern of Madison. Born March 8, 1939, in Clymer, Pa., to Metro “Spike” and Margaret (nee Lezark) Paranish, she had been a Leroy Township area resident before moving to Safford, Ariz., in 1987. Kathleen enjoyed gardening, canning and sewing. She is survived by her husband, Joseph of Madison; daughters, Beth (Jack) (nee Prindle) Daniels of Bend, Ore., and Terry (Michael) Shaffer of Munson Township; granddaughter, Lynn (Dave) Peterson of Middlefield; great-grandchildren, Curtis and Jaxin Peterson; and sister, Mary Ann (Hal) Dietz of Willoughby. Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Jane Nellies; and brother, John Paranish. Private family services will be held.
