June Beatty Miller age 72 of North Ft. Myers, FL. was born on November 12, 1938 in Washington, PA. June moved to Geauga County after graduating from high school and resided in Hambden Twp. until her retirement from the Law Offices of Joseph Weiss, Jr. In 2004 she moved to North Ft. Myers, FL. with her husband Amos. She died November 8, 2011 at her home.June married Joe Weaver on April 14, 1960 and had three children. Both Joe and her son, Joseph preceded June in death. In 1998 June married Amos Miller and two beautiful families were united.June loved and dedicated her life to her family, who affectionately called her “Dos” and “Mudder”. She actively enjoyed her life in Tamiami Village in N. Ft. Myers where she lived, played and worshipped with her friends and sister, Mary, and brother-in-law, Bill. June loved riding her bike, swimming, playing bingo, attending dinner theatres, and especially loved having her family visit.She is survived by her loving daughters; Julie (Kurt) Huffman of Highlands Ranch, CO, Jodi (Glenn) Travers of Thompson, Becky (Mike) Warner of Concord, Lucy Miller, and Ginny Travers both of Montville; Sisters, Mary (Bill) Brower of Tamiami Village, FL and Dorothy (Les) Ault of Perry; Grandchildren; Joseph and Virginia Travers, Joe (Karen) and Rick (Carey)Warner; Great Grandchildren; Nathan, Alison, Ethan, Calvin, and Madelyn Warner, and numerous nieces and nephewsShe is preceded in death by her father, John Beatty, mother, Emma Beatty Stewart and Step-father, Carl Stewart, her beloved son, Joseph Neil Weaver and loving husband, Amos J. Miller; Sisters, Gerry Adams, and Loretta Antol, and brother, John Beatty.Funeral Service will be Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00AM at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South Street, (St. Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon. Rev. Jason Humble of Middlefield First United Methodist Church will officiate. Visitation is Sunday, November 13th from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Burr Funeral Home. Burial will be in Concord Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 in loving memory of her son, Joseph Weaver and in honor of June being a breast cancer survivor.
