Mrs. Kellogg was an active member of the Claridon Congregational Church, having serviced as a Sunday School Teacher, the Church Financial Secretary and Women’s Fellowship Treasurer for more than 20 years. She was also a member of the Former Claridon Grange and Claridon Study Group, served as the treasurer of the Geauga County Co-Op Ministry and volunteered for meals on Wheels. Grandma June loved to cook, never following a recipe; a dash, pinch and smidgen. She was known as “Grandma June” to the many children she cared for. Mrs. Kellogg was the Bookkeeper for Moss Dairy in Chesterland, Clerk of the Claridon Township Board of Education and worked for the Geauga County Public Library, retiring in 1990. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Stephenson, sons Dennis C. (Dianne) Kellogg and Harold C. (Jan) Kellogg, all of Claridon Township. 3 Grandsons, 6 Granddaughters, 5 Great Grandsons and 2 Great Granddaughters, sisters Jeannette “Teeter” Grosvenor of Claridon Twp. and Janice (Frank) Stanek of Huntsburg Twp. and brother Ralph C. (Janet) Grosvenor of Hendersonville., NC. Her husband Charles C. Kellogg, whom she married in the First Congregational Church of Claridon, August 23, 1941, died June 2, 1992. Her parents Ralph C. and Belle (nee: Sampson) Grosvenor are also deceased.
