Julius P. Szorady, Sr. age 90 of Chardon died Oct. 24, 2012 at his residence. Born Aug. 15, 1922 in Cleveland to Geza and Veronika (nee: Toth) Szorady, he has been a lifelong area resident. Mr. Szorady was the founder of Trico Machine Products, Inc and was a skilled tool and die maker. Julius, a loving father and grandfather, is survived by his sons James (Marilyn) Sr. of Timberlake, Tom (Lori) Sr. of Concord, Mark of Rome and David (Laura) of Poland; grandchildren James Jr, Michael, Tom Jr, Brynn, Kelly, Jayson and Mari; 1 great-grandchild Wes; step-grandchildren Kim Brown, Jamie Fischer, Christie and Tom Call; and daughter-in-law Nance Call-Szorady. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Irene (nee: Vati) Szorady, son Julius Szorady Jr, 2 brothers and 1 sister. FUNERALMASS: 10am Monday Oct. 29, 2012 at the Church of St. Mary 401 North Street in Chardon. Burial will follow in All Souls Cemetery.
