Juliana Mary Judd (nee: Rutkowski), age 102, went to be with the Lord on December 11, 2023, at the Residence of Chardon Assisted Living in Chardon, Ohio. Juliana was born on January 31, 1921, in Cleveland, Ohio. She grew up living in North Kingsville, Ohio. She attended Kent State University and graduated from Adelbert College with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
She taught for twenty-eight years at Roosevelt Elementary School in Euclid, Ohio. She was also employed at Sears & Roebuck Catalog Department for over twenty years. She also worked at Euclid Beach Park where she met her husband, Estil Lee Judd.
Julie loved traveling and music. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She lived for the children and all the joy they brought to her. She will be missed by all the lives she touched. She was a member of Euclid Nottingham Church and also the Willow Hill Baptist Church in Willoughby, Ohio.
Julie is survived by her daughter, Nancy L. Judd and her son, Larry Lee (Char) Judd of Hambden Twp., Ohio; grandchildren, Kerry (Kyle) Stouges, Deborah McClure and Laura McClure; great grandchildren, Julia, Madeline, Natalie and Adam Stouges, William Whitake and Aubrey McClure.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Estil Lee Judd of fifty-six years and eldest child, Barbara Jean McClure.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 14, 2023 at the Willo Hill Baptist Church, 4200 OH 306, Willoughby, Ohio 44094. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at the church. The burial will follow at the Concord Township Cemetery, 11691 Concord Hambden Road, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful staff and residents at the Residence of Chardon Assisted Living, who cared for and enjoyed her company. Also, thanks to the staff and nurses from Sanctuary Hospice.
