Judith Kaye (Nee: Glasscock) age 51 of Sarasota, Florida. Died January 11, 2011 at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, FL. She was born on September 25, 1959 in Chardon, Ohio and had resided in Florida for the past one and a half hears and previously lived in Newbury, Twp., OH. Judith was Owner/operator of the former Judy’s Place in Newbury Twp., OH, for 22 years and retired in 2009.She was a passionate people person, believing strongly in reaching out and helping others. Judy was an avid Cleveland Browns Fan. and had graduated from Newbury High School in 1977.She is survived by her daughter, Madeline Jean Kaye of Dunedin, FL, parents: Oscar and Betty (Nee: Norman) Glasscock of Newbury Twp., OH, Brothers; Larry (Lee) Glasscock of Indianapolis, IN, Rev. Gary (Sandy) Glasscock of Kent, OH, Don (Leise Toohig) Glasscock of Newbury Twp., OH, and Jeff (Jackie) Glasscock of Newbury Twp., OH, her special companion, Patrick Britton of Sarasota, FL and former husband: John Kaye of Tampa, FL.She is preceded by her brothers, David and John Glasscock.Funeral Service is Saturday, January 15, 2011, at 11 AM at Newbury United Community Church, 14916 Auburn Road,(SW corner of Auburn Rd. and Rt. 87) Newbury Twp., OH, with Rev. Patricia Hough of the church officiating. Visitation is Friday, 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (on St Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon, OH. Burial will follow in Munn Cemetery, Newbury Twp., OHDonations are Suggested to the family c/o the funeral home.
