Joe Yacinski, 85, of Burton Twp., OH passed away at his home on December 9, born in Cleveland, OH December 17, 1920 he has live in Burton Twp. since 2000; Prior in Wickliffe from 1955 until 2000. Mr. Yacinski was a Press Operator for the Austin Company in Cleveland, OH; for over 30 years, he retired in 1982. He was a Veteran of US Army, 30th Infantry, WW II, Fought in 5 major campaigns; Normandy, No. France, Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe. Mr. Yacinski was the radio operator for Major General Leland Stanford Hobbs. He was a Member, and Union Steward, for Shopman’s Union, Local #465 in Cleveland. Member of the Disabled American Veteran’sAvid sports fan, enjoyed watching football, baseball, and especially horse racing events. He also enjoyed all movies, music, and was an animal – lover.Most important in his life were his granddaughters.He is survived by his sons: Joseph Yacinski of Eastlake, OH and Martin (Cristianna) Yacinski of Burton Twp., OH;Daughter: Martha Rolph of Mentor, OH; Granddaughters: Elaine, Jacqueline, Alexandra and Melanie Yacinskiand Brother: Mike Kachinski of Cleveland, OH;He is preceded in death by his Parents: Alexander and Dominica (Nee: Kuczer) Yacinski, wife: Margaret (Nee: Galanda) Yacinskiand Brothers: John, Alex, PeteFather John Zdinak of St. Theodosius will officiate services.
