Jonathan “Jon” P. Bones age 45 of Chardon died July 26, 2013 in Thompson. Jon was a man of many interests. He was an artist, creating many oil paintings, an accomplished musician, and luthier, making acoustic guitars of local hardwood which he enjoyed giving to friends. Jon earned a degree from Kent State University. He is survived by his mother Bobbi (Crotty) Bones of Clearwater, FL; sisters Robyn Bones of Florida and Crissy (Husband) Carrick of Maryland; grandmother Virginia (James) Young and many extended family. He was preceded in death by his father Frank Bones. GATHERING: 2-4pm on Sunday, Aug 11, 2013 at Walter C. Best Park 11620 Ravenna Road Chardon, OH. Please bring photographs and stories to share.
