John W. Graham age 90 of East Claridon, OH, died October 24, 2010 at Burton Healthcare. He was born February 5, 1920 in East Claridon and was a lifelong resident. John worked for Kennametal in Mentor and Orwell and retired in the mid 1980’s. He served in the US Army during WWII. John enjoyed playing horseshoes, listening to music and was an avid reader. He enjoyed watching sports, especially golf, being out doors and gardening.Survivors include his sister: Georgia Dones, niece, Kathleen Wilbraham, and many other nieces and nephewsHe is preceeded in death by his parents, John and Lena (nee: Haffner) Graham, sisters, Rose Arndt and Mary GrahamFuneral Service will be12:00 Noon on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Burr Funeral Home, 116 South St., (on St Rt. 44, 500′ south of Rt. 6/Chardon Square), Chardon, OH. Visistation is 10am-12pm on Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow with full military honors at East Claridon Cemetery.
